Multidimentionsional Sports Complex
D.S.Mandali has entered into contract of 30 years with Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board for running a multidimensional sports complex consisting of a Badmintons Hall, Indian & Western style Gymnasium with separate wings for girls, a swimming pool & athletic track, two dormitories for sportsmen & a big auditorium.
D.S.Mandali has donated its 8 acres of good & adjoining land to M.L.W. Board on nominal rent of one rupee per year for 30 years with provision to extend it further, for next two terms of 30 years each.
According to the contract D.S.Mandali would have the rights and responsibility to man and run the complex for that much period, sharing half of the financial liabilities and profits of running the complex. This would be a unique facility available to the students of D.S. Mandali having no parallel throughout Maharashtra.
In 1971 Dr. Nanasaheb Hemantrao Deshmukh, Medical Officer in Municipal Hospital, Dondaicha & his friends decided to establish an Educational Institute to provide quality Education to children at Pri. Sec. and High Sec. levels including some professional courses.
As Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had rightly said, education is one & the only means of salvation for the utterly poor & ignorant masses, Dnyanopask Shikshan Mandali therefore started it’s first Primary & Secondary School in a Zopadi & Zuggi area of Dondaicha which is a geographical center of Dhule District, in 1981-82 depending on people’s charity & the own income sources of the directors of the Institutions.
Now D.S.Mandali runs 15 Primary & High Schools in economically backward area of Shindkheda & Shahada Tahasil with particular insistence on female education. Hundreds of Female children of the utterly poor & downtrodden backward class people, particularly of Scheduled Tribes are getting good education every year in these institutions.
